Salvation
God makes it plain in His Holy and divine Word that all mankind must come to Him through His Son Jesus the Christ. Jesus is that "door" by which a convert must enter in order to be saved from sin. I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in, and will go out, and will find pasture, (John 10:9).

Until a person believes and obeys from the heart the Gospel of Christ that person is lost remaining in sin. And just what is it that a man or woman must know and do in order to obey the Gospel and be free from past sin?

1). One must "hear" the Word of the Gospel and understand. So belief cometh of "hearing", and "hearing" by the word of Christ, (Romans 10:17).

2). One must "believe" the Gospel, that Jesus is the Son of God and shed His blood for mankind. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
He that "believeth" and is baptized shall be saved; but he that "disbelieveth" shall be condemned, (Mark 16:15-16).

3). One must "repent" of their past sins. And Peter said unto them, "Repent" ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit,
(Acts 2:38).

4). One must "confess" Jesus, that He is the Son of God, Every one therefore who shall "confess" me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven, (Matthew 10:32).

5). One must demonstrate their faith in obedience to the command of Christ and be "baptized" in water for the remission of sins. He that believeth and is "baptized" shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned, (Mark 16:16).
And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be "baptized" every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, (Acts 2:38).

6). Finally the Christian must desire to grow in the knowledge and wisdom of Christ as revealed to us through the Holy Spirit by the Word of Truth. The Christian is to remain faithful to the cause and strive to assume the character of Jesus. Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou "faithful unto death," and I will give thee the crown of life, (Revelation 2:10).
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that "endureth to the end," the same shall be saved, (Mark 13:13).
Blessed is the man that "endureth" temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him, (James 1:12).

It is a simple proposition. Believe in the Lord and His Word and be saved from hell, or simply choose to disbelieve and forever be banished from heaven and the presence of God for eternity. The choice is yours. The choice cannot be made by another.

If you are not a Christian we beg that you search the scriptures honestly so that you might be persuaded to come to the knowedge of the truth. This day is the day of salvation, tomorrow may be to late.
