We welcome you to the Ecorse church of Christ website. We are a small group of non-denominational Christians that worship together in Ecorse Michigan.
Our worship is simple and patterened upon New Testament commands and examples. We are "Christians only" and have no creed other than that which is found within Holy and Divine scripture.
We have no central headquarters nor any man that heads or leads the church. Our headquarters is in heaven and our Head is Jesus Christ the King. Each congregation is autonomous and bound together through the Word only.
We believe the Bible to be the inerrant God breathed Word and His final authority in all matters pertaining to Christianity and His church.
We preach Christ and Him crucified:
By His authority we teach that one must "hear the Word,"(Romans 10:17).
One must "believe" the Word, (Hebrews 11:6).
One must "repent" of their sins, (Acts 17:30).
One must "confess" publically that Christ is the Son of the living God, (Matthew 10:32-33).
One must be "baptized" in water for the remission of their sins, (Acts 2:38).
And finally, one must "remain faithful" unto the end, ever growing in the knowledge of Christ ( Revelation 2:10).
If you are a Christian we invite you to worship with us any time that you have opportunity. If you are not a Christian we implore you to obey the Gospel this day.
